Job Description

Position Summary:  Provides oversight and support for the visitation services and staff  monitoring supervised visits and exchanges.

Work Hours: Tuesday-Friday: 12:00-8:00 pm, Saturday: 10:00-6:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:
•Coordinates and manages visitation schedules for visitation supervisors;
•Supervises visits and/or monitors exchanges as needed to ensure continuity of services; 
•Ensures that the services are conducted on time and according to policy guidelines; assists Visitation Supervisors with issues regarding parent-child interactions.
•Provides on-boarding and training for new employees; coaches and provides redirection for employees regarding visitation services.
•Monitors, reviews and provides periodic audits of electronic and paper client files.
•In conjunction with the Program Director of Restorative Services, interviews and screens potential applicants.
•Assists and provides input with annual employee performance evaluations and annual goals.
•Coordinates building services with Director of Operations and monitors the progress of projects, i.e. building updates, new equipment installation, etc.
•Prepares court reports, provides data entry and gathers numbers and/or documentation for grant reports.
•Works with the Director of In-Kind and Volunteer Services to coordinate volunteer group projects, activities, etc.
•Works with Operations to provide security services for the building; prepares and manages security contracts as needed
•Approves or rejects employee’s time and leave requests and online time sheets.
•Maintains client confidentiality.
Other Duties: Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology or similar and experience with family court services or court ordered visitation services with one to two years of hands-on experience with program oversight or supervision.
 
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License and clear driving record

Knowledge and Skills and Abilities:
•Knowledge of domestic violence, child abuse, cultural diversity and diverse socioeconomic levels of clients.
•Ability to interact well with diverse populations.
•Skilled in redirection and de-escalation techniques. 
•Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•Skilled in MS Office products, i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
•Knowledge and experience with scheduling systems.
•Ability to positively motivate, guide and train staff.
Mental and Physical Abilities: Duties are usually performed seated with occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 25 lbs).
Working Conditions: Work may be performed, but is not limited to an office environment. Ability to work primarily evenings and weekends.
